What is the difference between a laser cut swimsuit bottom and a low cut swimsuit bottom?

What is the difference? I was thinking of buying a tankini like this and I wasn't sure what the difference was. I need maximum belly coverage.
laser cut swimsuit bottoms usually have the sides cut out (the picture doesnt really show this). low cut just means it is low down (also called low rise.)
