I didn't read the article, but these are my thoughts. Artificial lasts so0o0o0o much longer it's not even funny. Why waste your money on a real tree that's only gonna be up for tops 2 weeks? I've had my same artificial tree for as long as i've been alive. They are really nice. Mine came with these pine cones on them. They are so cute!! You can hang much more ornaments on the fake tree and you don't have to worry about fires. My advice, don't buy a real tree. It's a big pain!
