Has anyone heard of the story of the man who dressed as a clown doll, broke into a house and sat there?
A friend told me a so called "true story" about how a girl was babysitting and while she was babysitting the child was waking up very often crying and screaming. The childs parents eventualy rang the babysitter to check everything was okay and the girl said yeah everythings fine but i think the child is just getting scared because of that life size clown sitting in the corner of her bedroom, the parents are confused and say, we dont have a life size clown, get out of there now.
Aparantly it was a man dressed as a clown with fully black contacts in his eyes who had broke in.
Has anyone else heard of this "true story" before?
Ive seen this whole plot in a movie which i cant remember the name of also.
Yes, i've heard that from the time I was a kid.
No, it's not true... It's an urban legend.
Of course, that doesn't mean that someone hasn't gotten the idea from the story and now our society is sick enough that it's possible it's gone from,
"Wow, what a spine tingling story."
to
"That really could happen." "Maybe I should do that."
That's what's scary.
