What is the difference between the medium and technique in art?
I have a project due tomorrow in my class Art History, and I need help to clarify the different between the medium and technique. Unfortunately, our manual does not give a clear definition, so I'm hoping Can anyone offer me guidance. I need to identify ways and techniques of each of the following elements of a local museum: drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and architecture. T means refer to "paint", whereas the technique refers to "the oil / Acrylic / Tempera / etc. "If yes, what would be the equivalent of sculpture and architecture be? Thanks!
