Does anyone know what clay/ceramic professional figurine makers use?
Ok so here's the lingo, I'm working towards a career in character design for anime tv shows, games, illustrations etc.
And I want to start making figurines of my designs, so I was wondering if anyone knows what sort of material the pro's use making there figures.
I tried using google but it really didn't help

The professionals use many different types, depending on what classes they took, and where. You can use the mud clays, polymer clays, or the non-hardening clays that can be re-used. Paper mache` and fabric sculpture are also used. And then some people will just invent their own way to make the characters they want. You can do any of those you like, or better yet, try them all.
