What cleaning product for polyurethane covered hard wood floors will also make it shine.?
My cleaning products have dulled my hard wood floor, and I'd like it to shine after cleaning--what product will do this?
My husband owns a hardwood floor company. Only use a 25% white vinegar and 75% water mixture. If you use any product with a soap or wax base or ingredient, you will get build up on the floors. The old-fashioned cleaner is the one that works the best. Our floors (red oak with a water-based urethane) are always shiny. Another good thing is that vinegar and water won't hurt little kids who play on the floor.
