My Friend's Memorial Photo?
A very close friend of mine died last year, and it upset me that I couldn't attend her funeral or even console our mutual friends, as she lived in Holland while I live in the US. The only thing I could think of to really honor her memory was to make a memorial for her. I have a photo of her, I've placed her name, DOB, and DOD on it, but what I need is a place to put it.
I'm a Scuba Diver, so I want this memorial to be water tight. Printing the photo is easy, but I want to know what would be the best and easiest way to protect the photo from the water and the critters living in it. I know there's some kind of clear plastic molding used to make awards that I can use, I just need to know if there's a place I can take the photo to and have a professional mold the photo into it for me.
Does anyone know what kind of place I can take it to?
One option would be to have it etched in crystal or acrylic. Most labs that offer gifting services can have it done.
