All Quiet on the Western Front...your thoughts?

I just finished reading it...and i'm looking for general opinions on the book....any thoughts?

One of the main themes is the detachment that soldiers feel when they return to civillian life after being on the front line of a terrible war. It can be easily compared to soldiers returning from Iraq now.
