worlds deadliest warrior Samurai vs Viking really now?
I just watched an episode of worlds deadliest warrior this is my first time watching the show and I have to say they got a lot of things wrong. since when were viking weapons slow? I can handle almost all those weapons with a lot of speed because of my height and strength so I'm pretty sure the Vikings could swing them 4 times as fast and with 100 time the skill as I could. another thing they got wrong is if a Katana collided with a Viking sword it would have bent or broken they were not designed to clash with other swords let alone ones that strong. that and they forgot to mention Samurai armor was heavier but weaker than chainmail not to mention Viking also had bows, although Viking didn't wear pants they did have leg guards. does the show always get things like this wrong?

I think the idea of samurai have been very much romanticized like a lot of things from Japan, like ninjas and all that. Also if you look at samurai armour in a museum... its huge, bulky and all that. I can't imagine anyone being able to run and fight in that. Vikings all the way.
