can a 4 month old try to sit before rolling over?
my 4 month old tries to sit up whilst lying on a pillow or sitting on his rocker!. My 2 year old rolled at 5 months then started to sit at 6 months... My mother said it is possible for some babies to sit before being able to roll... So i was wondering did your baby sit or roll first and at what age... Thanks
yes, my son was trying to sit up before he could roll over he would get about half way and then fall back... a few days later he was rolling like a pro... Im thinking that it is a way for babies to work the muscles in their backs and stomachs like doing crunches... So they can roll over and eventually crawl.
