Do i have to make my baby corn snake hibernate?
I just recently bought a baby snow corn snake. About 2 weeks ago. I know that it is early summer, but when winter comes around do i have to make it hibernate? I do have a heat lamp, i shut it off at night because its normal for temperature to drop at night fall. I did research on corn snakes before i bought mine. But i never read anything about hibernating? do i have to do it? if so how?
You don't have to make it hibernate but some people do in order to make it more natural or as stated before me for breeding purposes. But keeping the same consistant temp is best for captive snakes. They dont NEED to hibernate and it will be fine if you don't make it.
