Do you have something that you bought more than 40 yrs ago and still have it?

I have a ceramic horse collection - that I started when I was 12 years old. Every month - I would buy another one. They were not large - only three inches tall - but there were many kinds - old mares, fierce stallions, tiny colts - huge draft horses and light Arabians - even Zebras and donkeys were in the mix. Over the years - and many packings and moves - a horse here and there - would suffer a leg amputation or head decapitation. I saved every part and faithfully glued them back together. Some now have a distinct pattern of tiny hair line fractures - a new "coat pattern" has been born - it is called "Loved". ♥
The "thumbs down" are not from me -

I have my Photoplay magazines, in monthly order....with my favourite a feature on TV Westerns (Robert Horton's picture on the front) they have been packed and unpacked and carted around since I was 15-I'm now 64...I expect my kids will chuck them in the bin when I'm dead...but, until then...they can't touch 'em.
ps Did you know, Robert Horton is still alive and kicking? I sent him a message t'other day...his fan-club site said 'He reads all his mail' - I told him of my undying love for Wagon Train and Flint McCullough.
