Why is foam so expensive?
I went to buy a foam cushion the other day and was awestruck by how much stores were selling them for. Then I looked around a little more and saw the absurd prices for 'memory foam' mattresses.
What on earth makes foam so expensive? What could it be made of that costs so much??
I did finally find a reasonably priced foam cushion, but I had to go to several stores to find it.
Lots of things harm the environment that aren't that ridiculously expensive. Theres got to be more to it than that.
