What's next for the over PCing of the World?
The Cincinnati Orchestra has cancelled a musical program featuring the original Dukes of Hazzard, John Schneider and Tom Wopat, and celebrating the show.
They claim the TV show's use of the confederate flag is racist and thus this program would have been racist.
So, does this mean that the orchestra should ban Wagner's "Flight of the Valkries". since its Germanic roots and alleged adoration of Adolph Hitler towards it, would make it anti-semetic?
I agree with you. Its not like Schneider or Wopat were going to be waving confederate flags u on the stage or something. To blacklist them like that is very un-American. Im from Cincy, and wont be patronizing the Pops for a while- not because I wanted to see that show, but I dont think that what they did was right.
